I heard this from a youth leader in my church recently.
She says that being one of the guys in church, or in the Christian community in general, willing to take up responsibilities, there is a demand for our work - as we know the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Especially guys - when we consider the additional responsibilities that God has designated to the men.
She then said that because there are so many things to do, and so few of us - it is not good enough to do what is good, or what is beneficial. We have to be selective, and choose what is best.
Best meaning we have to give up certain things we want to do, certain things we don't want to do.
And to do what is best for everyone.
