What in the world is "seeker-friendly"?
GotQuestions.org places it as
The short of it is that seeker-friendly (though they will not admit to this) is driven by the notion that man's feelings are more important than God's truth. To convince people to believe God, we have to keep them comfortable, not step on their toes...
Now this is in direct contrast to what God does. By chapter 3 of Genesis, God tells us through the Bible that man is sinful. Oh, oops. I think that's offensive! Hey, guess what, let's quietly not mention it cos it'll offend our seekers.
Hmm, same goes for Genesis 4. And 5. And 6, 7, 8... Ah how about the rest of Genesis? And Exodus? And Leviticus, and Numbers, and Deuteronomy and Matthew, and Mark, and Luke, and John - Oh yeah here's a good one - Jesus says, "it [the world] hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil." Wow. Just no way we're telling seekers that the whole world is evil, right?
Well same goes for most of the New Testament... Hmm. I think we can come back at Revelation 22:20 - the second last verse of the Bible, since the 3rd last one is a nasty warning against (evil) people who try to add or take away from the book of Revelation (which we are clearly doing here).
So there you go - God created man, man was good, Jesus is coming soon. The seeker-friendly, all-is-good lie that the devil would have you believe.
Don't ever slap that title "seeker-friendly" on anything before you understand what is really going on behind it. Don't even slap the title Christian on anything or anyone until you are sure that the truth of the Bible is there. Don't diminish Jesus - the way, the truth and the life, by being "seeker-friendly". Don't be the social club that springs "wise sayings from the Bible" but misses the truth of God.

Basically, the seeker-sensitive church tries to reach out to the unsaved person by making the church experience as comfortable, inviting, and non-threatening to him as possible. The hope is that the person will believe in the gospelThey go on the trash out lots of stuff. My opinion is that the article is rather extremist, but nevertheless a good read. https://www.gotquestions.org/seeker-sensitive-church.html
