Summary
Okay cheesy title. Why !!!? Because the Psalm is just full of these !s. It's rather simply a Psalm of joy and praise for God. Shall do this Psalm in point form since it makes rather valid sense!

- Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
- For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared
- a great king over all the earth.
- He subdues peoples under us and nations under our feet
- He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob who he loves
- God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
- Sing praises to God, sing praises!
- Sing praises to the King, sing praises!
- For God is the King of all the earth;
- Sing praises with a psalm!
- God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne.
- The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham
- For the shields of the earth belong to God;
- He is highly exalted!
Well basically each of the main points are kind of subheadings to the Psalm, and then we have for the first indented bullet, the actions that are taken. We fear the LORD, we sing praises, and we gather as the people of the God of Abraham to exalt Him. The second indent represents the reasons for these things - and actually the reasons kinda fly all around and overlap.
I think the !s are quite easily seen in the point form! Maybe some emphasis - when it speaks of the action of exalting God, through singing or clapping or gathering as God's people - in particular, we see the ! at the end of the sentence. I guess this relates to how I feel about worship - that worship is truly something where we express our joy in God's plan and our love for God, beyond the sad-sounding hymns of reflection and response, there seems to be a good place for songs of praise and rejoicing - something I feel church sometimes doesn't provide often as we focus on being Word-centric we sometimes lose a bit of the desire to sing with such conviction and joy. Hmm. Shall think about it more! But yes, there's definitely a place for praises with the !
